PKV at Redmond's Day of Play photos

Today we ran probably 100 kids through a short course demonstrating the priciples of parkour and how to get into it safely at Redmond's first "Great Day of Play" event. It was a lot of fun for all involved, but I gotta say that for a date devoted to play we were some of the only adults jumping around with the kids ;) Both play and parkour are for everyone no matter your age!

Big thanks to Ian and Bacon for volunteering to man the booth and make our presence possible!

Build day and parkour park planning

Img_0319

We'll be at the gym or down the street in the new workshop tomorrow from 12-5 working on the 10 or so new boxes that are partially constructed. Hopefully it's nice out and we can assemble outside! If you are available to help out please bring a cordless drill/driver or a table saw ;) Can't wait to get these done! Call 206.923.8864 if you don't see us

Around 5pm we'll order some pizza and gather to discuss plans for the new parkour park project! All are welcome

Workshop set up day

We got the second room almost entirely cleared out and will still have room to work in the new shop!

Eric also doubled our storage potential at the gym with a clever shelf in the closet :)

The Parkour Visions Workshop!

Img_0318

It's really small but just down the street from the gym we now have our own dedicated workshop :)

This way we can do all of the heavy cutting/routing/sanding for build days without totally destroying the gym each time. We've rather consistently been adding new stuff to the gym every week and I'd like to keep that going.

With more working room anyone have any suggestions for table saws and a drill press?
