Help design a Parkour Park
by Beth Jusino
Know Google SketchUp? Have a camera and a tape measure? Want to see a parkour park in Seattle? We need your help.
The Seattle Design Commission is asking for projects to temporarily transform delayed building sites into something nicer. We want to send in a badass proposal for a parkour park easily built from elements the city already has - bus shelters, traffic barriers, curbs, bike racks, access ramps, benches, scaffolding, etc.
See all the places that say You? That means You. We need help. Come join us at the gym on this Sunday, May 9, at 5:00 to share your ideas, volunteer your talents, and eat some pizza.
Oh, and meet new people (like me).
We mentioned pizza, right?
